Together, we gather on the Autumn Equinox to embrace the subtle shifts in energy, opening space to orient ourselves in the turning tides of change.
The second harvest festival, Mabon, is a time of gratitude and a 'pivot' for reflection, as the hours of day and night are held in balance—perfectly and poetically poised. Basking in the echos of summer, we give thanks for the brilliance and abundance, leaving our hearts and baskets full while preparing for the mellowing and loosening of autumn once more.
From this point, our outward momentum begins to spiral inwards, bringing a sense of return to refocus and refine... preparing us for the tides of change and autumn's inevitable falling. Cultivating nourishing foundations and a clear perception of the elemental changes can help orientate and adjust our consciousness - observing the rhythmic flow of our earthly, bodily and mental-emotional cycles. We cannot deny the subtle influence of the outer world on our inner landscape and this interwoven existence.
So let us dance with the rhythms of life, anchoring our intentions with embodied practices as we descend into our hearts and wombs - preparing to give ourselves to the winter ahead.
Join me and sister-kin, for this special seasonal retreat, a day of thanksgiving and feasting. Come to peel back the layers of life, unravelling the binds of linear living to reflect on the turning tides and our own cycles of being.
