Earth Listening - First Harvest

  • Hackhurst Farm Hackhurst Lane Hailsham, England, BN27 United Kingdom (map)

Join the magical trio, Silvija, Verity, and Garwyn, for Earth Listening: The Summer Edition, a day retreat that invites you to return to the wild, to be held by the Earth in her season of Mothering, and celebrate what is ripening in your life.

Gathering at Lughnasadh, the cross-quarter festival of the first harvest, this Summer retreat is an invitation to pause, reflect, and receive. It is a time to give thanks for the first fruits—the golden fields of wheat beneath the warm sun, and to acknowledge the Earth’s unwavering generosity.

We will sink into the season's abundance—rich, ripe, and humming with life. As the fullness of Summer begins to yield to Autumn's hush, we attune to the rhythms of the land and honour both its gifts and the quiet ripening of our own personal growth.

What to Expect

  • Opening Circle – A guided arrival, with feet on the Earth to attune to the land.

  • Gentle Qigong – Opening the body’s energy pathways, bringing us to flow with the natural world.

  • Herb Walk – A mindful practice, gathering seeds to connect you with the cycles of the land.

  • Forest Bathing – A sensory immersion and guided meditation inviting us to listen to nature and our true nature.

  • Sound Interwoven – A Sound Journey weaving the ripeness of harvest, inviting the plants to sing through us. Experience the healing resonance of voice, cello, crystal alchemy bowls, flute, and shamanic drum.

  • Lunch – A locally foraged, lovingly prepared meal in the courtyard. With herbal teas and cold infusions throughout the day—savouring the land’s abundant gifts.

  • Wild Spa –  A sauna ritual rooted in Baltic traditions, to return to the old ways.

  • Closing Circle – Space for sharing, reflections and integration to close.

Guided by experienced facilitators, Garwyn Linnell, Silvija Suliokaite & Verity Megan this retreat offers a space to slow down, listen and be!
