Spring Sound Bath

  • Clinic 51 Dye House Lane Petworth, England, GU28 0LF United Kingdom (map)

Lemon balm, with its bright lemony fragrance, belongs to the Lamiaceae family, a relative of mint and sage and a favourite in cottage gardens. Long cherished for its comforting and soothing qualities, its tiny white flowers are also beloved by the bees.

The ancient Greeks called this plant Melissa, meaning 'honey bee.' For centuries beekeepers have rubbed their hives with lemon balm to welcome bees home.

As the energy of the season quickens and the bees begin their busy work, you're warmly invited to sink into spacious rest for our Spring Sound Bath at the barn—a balmy blessing of rest, resonance and renewal, supported by the calming spirit of Melissa.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a warm infusion of lemon balm tea, space to slow, sip and savour. The session begins with a guided meditation to settle the mind and soften the body, allowing you to melt and loosen, becoming runny like honey. From there we drift into the sound bath, where calming vibrations ripple and trickle through your whole being.

After the sound bath, there will be space for sharing, reflection, and a honey-sweet treat to ground and close our time together.
